COVID-19 is having a major impact on carrier operations, causing delays in many parts of the network. The challenges presented by the pandemic mean there are delays as our business adopts additional safety measures to protect our people and customers. Other factors contributing to delays include fewer domestic flights, international delays and increased volumes as more people start shopping online. In addition to this, carriers have been instructed by the government to prioritise medical supplies and other essential freight items, which means non-essential freight items will travel a little slower. Rest assured the carriers are doing everything they can to deliver your parcels as quickly as possible but please understand there will be delays.
ETAs listed on the carrier websites are not accurate and shouldn’t be relied on because they don’t take into account the network delays we’re currently experiencing due to COVID-19.

Postage to Australian addresses is free for all orders over $49. Postage is $14.00 for regular post
International shipping is a flat rate of $40.
We currently do not offer express post due to courier delays not currently ensuring fast deliveries.
Delivery timeframes (for Australia only)
Dispatch: 1–3 working days after purchase – all orders
Delivery: Up to 5 working days after dispatch, depending on your location. Rural locations may take up to 2 weeks.
Shipping notifications will be sent when the parcel has been dispatched.
International shipping is a flat rate of $40
Please note that delivery to locations other than Australia may take up to 6 weeks.

All orders are sent via the most trusted and efficient service, Australia Post. If you wish to have your parcel delivered by DHL, please get in touch. Additional shipping charges may apply.
Your shipping details
We recommend providing a work or home address where someone will be available to sign between 9am and 5pm weekdays. Or just let us know in your order notes that you give authority for the courier to leave your package at the door.
Authority To Leave
If you have not given authority to leave the parcel, and if you are not at home to receive your delivery a delivery attempt notice will be left and your order will be left at your local post office/ depot for collection.
Once the parcel has been dispatched we cannot take responsibility for their transit or the action of the courier services.
Once a delivery has been picked up by the courier, it is no longer our responsibility. It is the customer’s responsibility to inform us if an order has not arrived.
Please only contact us once you have made contact with the courier and they have unsuccessfully found your parcel. We will then contact the courier to investigate further.
Please note delivery time frames cannot be guaranteed. In some instances, it is not always possible due to unforeseen circumstances or events beyond our control.

We at Ooh La Chai take customer satisfaction very seriously, however we do not accept returns or refunds for change of mind. If there is a proven manufacturer's fault with the product, please contact us within 7 days of receiving the product in the original packaging for a replacement.
